Very good food at a good price. Recommend.
Good food and quick service. Satay broth is nice and balanced. It was not overly salty or spicy and the beef broth flavour was not over powered.
Good price, good taste, fast service!
One of the best restaurants in Chinatown !
As a authentic vietnamese family, I'll say the food here is not great. Their regular dish (for rice) is ok, but their pho and other watery soup wasn't great. It is a little better than an non-Vietnamese person learned to cook Vietnamese food. (I had many friends who learned to cook and its similar taste like this). I give them good rating for their service though. They are neither too nosy, or over serve or pushy. Been there once and won't come back. If you like a family atmosphere asian-style then this place is for you.
Great multilingual service... Its quality not quantity. Soup base is great and not much is needed to add to the base. Great balance in salt and meat. Everything complements each other. Order a extra side of meat if you need the extra soakage but expect to unbalance the soup to noodle to meat ratio. Price is decent.. Once you go... Start planning your next trip.
One of the best bun no hue's (spicy noodle soup) in Montreal! :)
Excellent Vietnamese food at excellent prices (and I spent a month in Vietnam before the Covid lockdown and its as good as anything I had there. Dinners come with a free pot if tea which is nice. Give them a try.
Fast and efficient (we came late one night). It's a good place for good quality food. I'd have to come back to try other delicacies they serve there (banh xeo - Vietnamese crepe).
Best vegetarian pho broth! Very tasty, big portions and only $8 for a big bowl! The service was also really good, they were so prompt, kind and multilingual.
Great spot for lunch break
A small underground pho place in Chinatown montreal. The place was pretty clean, the service was good. The waiter was very friendly. Very good pho. Love the satay pho, the broth is very flavourful. It's not the regular pho you get at other places it has unique taste to it. Definitely recommended. The banh xeo is really good. One of the best I've tasted. It is crispy on the outside yet soft. Pairs perfectly with the fish sauce. Comes with some vegetables that you use to wrap the view crepe with
Ate here a few times in the past month and both myself and wife loved it. The Pho soup is excellent and is a must try. The service has always been very good and friendly, quick and dynamic. Basic interior but very clean. Prices are also very competitive and affordable. I enjoy eating here and it would be a top pick in Montreal's China Town.
Good vietnamese food, quick service, good price
Absolutely delicious soups, great service and cheap prices. I wasn't really impressed by their rice plates but their pho selection is great. Something that is pretty unique is their duck noodle soup with bamboo which is a must try! Well balanced, light broth, good portion, and the ginger dipping sauce gives it that nice tang. I really recommend this place.
Real good food and friendly staff! The price are pretty decent for the quality of the food!
Good food, pleasant service, quiet place to have a meal, a bit old fashioned decor but that's okay.
Authentic and inexpensive Vietnamese food.
Food was good, one of those hole in the wall restaurant
Good quality and quantity food! Service is good and price is affordable. They have student discount for 10%. The place is warm and cozy. The only thing I would suggest is they add WiFi to their restaurant.
Really good good, cant stop craving it!
Excellent service. Fantastic, authentic Vietnamese food. Big portions too! Highly recommend the “Nem Nướng-Bánh Hỏi” with perfectly grilled meatballs. Suggest to go with an order of the rich and smooth iced Vietnamese coffee!
Worth of visiting. Very delicious!!
Was skeptical at first by the lack of customers but went in anyway. The pho was delicious and flavorful. Perfect for a cold winter day. Not too crowded which is great. Price are reasonable and I like how they give choice of SML size.
, quick-service great value
I really highly recoment for you in this restaurant. Every thing is good. Especially the soup.Tonkinoise. It is really better than the soup that i try in pho express, 8523 in the same street Saint Laurent. I will come back.
Food tastes amazing and brings back traditional Vietnamese flavors. Portions are enough to satisfy and perhaps you may have leftovers. Service is friendly and quick. Price is amazingly economical for the portions that you get.
Had the pho and another dish and very impressed. Tastes great, friendly staff, nice and cheap
Damn good pho
Most authentic no BS veitnamese place in town. Try the tonkinese soup number 9 XL please if you want to be well fed and feel good!!! Meaty and wholesome.
Really great food, excellent service. No frills aesthetic.
Went to Pho Saigon Vietnam for a quick bite. The service was incredibly warm and friendly. I ordered their famous Pho Dac Biet extra large. The broth was delicious and tasted very authentic. It proved to be great value as there was a lot of meat in the Pho. With great satisfaction, my girlfriend and I both finished the x-large bowls. I’d recommend anyone In Montréal to give this little gem a try!
Ignore any bad reviews, this is the only pho place I will go to. I have been to several others and they don't even compare. The staff is extremely friendly and even if they weren't it is worth it just for their rare beef pho. I crave it every day and usually go once a week.
Typical vietnamese restaurant. Very good I can say. Thanks ill be back
SO PHOKING GOOD I WENT TWICE IN A WEEK
Very nice and quaint place (in the basement) but don't let that deter you from going. The wonton soup is like everywhere else. I had ginger stir fried veggies with chicken and it was very good. I especially liked the fried pineapple. It is nice and quiet for a couple or a family outing. I highly recommend this place...
Great place, always full, food is very authentic, reasonable prices.
Beef noodle soup is good
“Ok” decor but the food was quite good. Very good value for the money.
Excellent. This was a great experience in old Montreal. Exactly what I was looking for. The Satay Beef Pho was delicious. A different style of broth than I am used to, but extremely pleased. Also a great touch to sit down and instantly receive a pot of tea. No hesitation recommending this great spot.
Clean place, pretty good food, and good service
Decent pho, not crowded Pretty good Service.
Portions are smaller than the competitor across the street, but quality of food is much better. Highly recommend the pho here and also the calamari. Their spring rolls are also super fresh and worth it!
Delicious bowl of pho and friendly service
Very professional servers and pho tastes great. A bit less meat than expected. Too bad they don't accept credit cards.
Pho was very delicious. Definitely recommend it. Great food and service.
Excellent food, great service, good price but not the most appealing restaurant. Will definitely go back
Serving size was a little smaller, but overall great taste. Has an unique chewiness to the noodles that I really enjoyed compared to most viet places I've been too where the noodles are over-cooked.
I've been living in Montreal for 7 years and it's by far the best vietnamese restaurant in town! Very good service and excellent food. It's the place to go if you want authentic vietnamese food.
Food has very authentic viatnemese flavors. It was great! Staff was pleasant and pretty quick with everything. I deff recommend if visiting China town
